Abstract

Project method has been applied efficiently and successfully in teaching several subjects at different levels of education. Supporting the trend of innovations in the methods used in language teaching to promote the students’ sense of independence, active characteristics, initiative and creative abilities in learning and researching, we have applied this method in teaching the subject Writing at Foreign Language Department, Phu Yen University. This application has brought about some satisfactory and encouraging results. This article focuses on the application of the project method to teach Writing especially Writing 6 and the results achieved.
