Some measures for developing professional adaptation competences for the students majored in pre-school education at Phu Yen University

Abstract

The task of training and fostering pre-school teachers is an important duty of pre-school teachers training universities and faculties. During the training process, students are not only equipped with the theoretical knowledge about early childhood education science but also taught and practice the skills of pre-school pedagogy in particular. In fact, many pre-school education students are not fully aware of the professional standards of the pre-school teacher profession, their adaptation abilities to the learning and training activities is still limited. On the basis of understanding and surveying the professional adaptation competence of the pre-school students, we propose a number of measures to enhance the capacity of adaptation for the students who are the future young teachers to undertake the task of caring for and educating the pre-school children.
