Teaching – learning arts education in primary schools under new supported Denish approach and assessing primary students following Circular 22/2016 by the Ministry of Education and Training

Abstract

The teaching and learning Arts Education in primary schools under new approach supported by Demark (SAEPS) in recent years have proved many advantages. However, the assessment of students’ performance following Circular N0 30/2014/TT-BGDĐT still has many problems, and cannot promote students’ learning competence or enhance their progress. This article mentions and discusses some new points and amendments implemented in Circular 22/2016/TT-BGDĐT on assessing primary students regarding the subjects in which arts teachers are required to master and conduct effectively aiming at upgrading the quality of teaching and learning Arts Education in primary schools.
