Abstract

At present, the solution of the women’s problem in Islamist countries is very different because of the complexity and diversity of the Islamist world. In Islamist countries following the capitalist way of development, the solution of the problem does not escape the limits of bourgeois conceptions on individual freedom. In Islamist countries, in which the feudal regime and the authority of church still survive, the problem of women has not yet received concern. Other Islamist countries following the way of development of the third world have made use of legal measures to bring equality to women in all sphere of the social life. But on account of a shut tight life, Islamist women still do not so actively participate to the social life as women in other areas. The traditional Islamist society recognized some independent rights of women in economic problems. But the problem of their independence and equality still is a complicated and controversial one on the psychological and moral aspect. It reflects the complexity and contradiction of the Islamist world development in every aspect. Full text in Vietnamese Religious Studies Vol.6 2005 p.47-52
