Design and manufacturing of a thin sheet metal cutting equipment for applications industrials

Abstract

Currently, there are many methods of cutting sheet metal. However, cutting thin sheet metal is a very big challenge in industrial production. Therefore, cutting thin sheet metal is a new research direction of scientists and manufacturers. In this paper, we have been researched, designed and manufactured a thin sheet metal cutting equipment with thickness up to 0.1mm and width up to 50mm. The process of testing equipment for cutting thin sheet metals such as low carbon steel, 304 stainless steel and copper-zinc alloy. That will help us perfect the equipment and application into production.
