Computer model of the DC-DC matching converter

Abstract

DC-DC converters are becoming an increasingly important technology in electronic systems, especially in mobile devices. It has many applications and great potential for future development, however, improvements in performance, size and flexibility are needed to suit many different applications. This paper presents a model of a DC-DC converter that is controlled to match the output parameters of electrical devices. This converter is built from components of the SimPowerSystems Matlab/Simulink library. The dynamic characteristics have been studied and a method for controlling the DC-DC matching converter using a computer model has been found.
