SPECIES COMPOSITION AND DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF PLECOPTERA (INSECTA) IN BACH MA NATIONAL PARK THUA THIEN – HUE PROVINCE

Abstract

Species composition of the stonefly order Plecoptera was investigated in Bach Ma National Park. In total, 27 species belonging to 16 genera and 4 families were found. Family Perlidae was the most diverse family with 20 species (74.07%). New addition to insect fauna of Plecoptera in the Bach Ma National Park was 7 species and 5 genera. Distribution along the height: There are 6 species, 4 genera, 1 family at an altitude of less 500 m above sea level; 18 species, 12 genera, 2 families at elevation from 500 m to 900 m; 20 species, 12 genera, 4 families at more 900 m.
