CHINA AND SECURITY ISSUES IN SHIPPING ENERGY AT SEA

Abstract

Currently, China mainly relies on Middle East countries to ensure energy security. China's energy security will be face a serious threat if this arterial transport route is blocked in the context of the construction of the oil pipeline from the Middle East to China is impossible. This paper will analyze the challenges of securing the marine energy transportation and the solutions China takes to improve the security of this strategic energy shipping route.
