Tóm tắt

This study aims to develop an online exercise system for the "Integrated Chinese 1" to support self-study and student assessment in the Department of Chinese Language at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. The study seeks to improve learning efficiency, engage student interest, and enhance motivation through several key steps: (1) establishing a theoretical foundation, (2) analyzing the course learning outcomes of the ‘Integrated Chinese 1,’ (3) designing an exercise system, (4) publishing the exercises on the Live Worksheet platform, and (5) evaluating and adjusting the system. The exercise system is structured around course content, assessing knowledge areas such as pinyin, Chinese characters, and vocabulary, as well as the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The exercises are designed to align with four cognitive process levels: recognition, comprehension, application, and higher-order thinking. Additionally, exercises are open after each lesson to help students review and consolidate learning. A key feature of this system is its comprehensive and varied content, offering a more robust review process than traditional workbooks and effectively meeting the course’s learning outcomes.
