Vietnamese Historiography: Development and Contributions in the Doi Moi Period

Abstract

This article is aimed to examinine the development and contribution of Vietnamese historiography during the Doi Moi (Renovation) period. The authors point out the changes of Vietnamese historiography in terms of theories, methods and approaches and its principal achievements as well as its shortcommings.
