Improving the Draft Law on Access to Information (Amended) through South Korean Experience

Abstract
Based on a commentary regarding several contents of the Draft Law on Access to Information (amended), this article clarifies new points concerning the subjects responsible for providing information, the scope of access, and the disclosure mechanism. Simultaneously, through a study of legal regulations and information disclosure practices in South Korea, the article identifies legal gaps in Vietnam’s Draft Law on Access to Information (amended) and proposes suggestions for continued improvement.
