Ensuring democracy in the election of National Assembly deputies in Vietnam today

Abstract

National Assembly elections are a significant political-legal activity in the nation's political life. Through elections, the Vietnamese people select and elect worthy representatives to exercise state power on their behalf. To ensure that National Assembly elections truly reflect the will and aspirations of the people, democracy must be guaranteed throughout the entire electoral process. This requirement mandates that electoral activities be conducted in accordance with legal regulations, fully adhering to electoral principles across all stages. This article analyzes the requirements and measures for ensuring democracy in the current National Assembly elections in our country.
