Critical criteria for choosing to buy a smart apartment in Ho Chi Minh city

Abstract

This paper presents the criteria affecting the decision to buy a smart home in Ho Chi Minh City. Based on a literature review of research documents combined with expert interviews and questionnaire survey methods, there are 31 factors affecting the decision to buy a smart home in Ho Chi Minh City have been identified, including 6 main groups: (i) Internal utilities inside the apartment; (ii) Exterior design and space of the apartment; (iii) Location of the apartment; (iv) Legality of the apartment; (v) Support services; (vi) Habitat; and (vii) The convenience of smart devices. The results of this study can be used as a platform to consider and make appropriate decisions in supporting customers to make smart home-buying decisions in Ho Chi Minh City as well as other provinces and cities.
