Live load distribution factor for shear force according to tcvn 11823-2017 and finite element method for reinforced concrete I-shape girder

Abstract

In the design of girder bridges, the correct assessment of the load distribution factors, especially the live load distribution factors, plays an important role and greatly affects the shape and size of the bridge structure. This paper focuses on the analysis and assessment of the live load distribution factor for shear force for reinforced concrete I-section bridge girders according to the approximate formula in TCVN 11823-2017 standard and the finite element method.
