Abstract
During the construction and finishing of reinforced concrete beams and slabs, defects such as surface voids, honeycombing, chipped corners, excess concrete residue, uneven cold joints, and elevation deviations commonly arise. If left untreated, these issues can compromise both structural integrity and visual quality. This paper presents specific construction solutions for repairing such defects, focusing on the selection of appropriate materials (non-shrink grout, bonding admixtures) and step-by-step methods tailored to each defect type. Inspection and acceptance criteria after repair are also outlined to ensure structural performance and service life in accordance with applicable standards.
