Research on factors affecting bidding prices of contractors when participating in bidding for construction packages in Hanoi

Abstract

Research paper on factors affecting the bidding price of contractors when participating in tenders for construction projects in Ha Noi. Based on a survey of 131 investors, construction contractors, consulting contractors, material suppliers, state agencies, and tendering experts, coupled with quantitative analysis methods (Cronbach’s Alpha and EFA), the results show that factors such as material costs, level of competition with other contractors, and experience in similar projects have a significant and statistically meaningful impact. From these findings, the paper proposes a number of solutions to improve how contractors determine their bidding price when participating in tenders for construction projects in Ha Noi.
