Standardization of construction processes for building and finishing works in civil engineering projects
Abstract
In the context of civil construction projects increasingly requiring higher standards of quality, schedule performance, and risk control, the standardization of construction procedures has become a critical factor in enhancing on-site management efficiency. This study focuses on developing a standardized construction process system for common finishing works, including brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, floor screeding, tiling, wall cladding, and gypsum ceiling installation.
The research methodology is based on analyzing existing practical procedures, standardizing construction steps, identifying quality control checkpoints, and integrating them into a unified process framework. The results of the study are a detailed set of standardized procedures that can be directly applied to construction management and on-site inspection and acceptance.
