Impact of green real estate projects on green economic development: International experiences and lessons for Vietnam
Abstract
In the context of climate change and the increasing demand for sustainable development, the green economic model is becoming a crucial direction in the development strategies of many countries. The construction and real estate sectors are among the areas that consume a lot of energy and emit greenhouse gases; therefore, developing green real estate projects is considered a key solution to promote the transition to a green economy. This article analyzes international experiences in green real estate development and assesses the impact of these projects on green economic development. From this, it draws some lessons for Vietnam to promote green real estate development in the future, including improving the policy framework, developing green finance, promoting technological innovation, and raising market awareness, with the expectation of contributing to the sustainable development of the green economy in Vietnam.
