Cross-border Ethnic Relations of Brau People in Vietnam

Abstract
The Brau are an ethnic minority with a small population belonging to the Mon-Khmer language group in Vietnam, currently residing mainly in Dak Me village, Bo Y commune, Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province. The Brau originally migrated mainly from Laos and have ethnic ties to both Laos and Cambodia. Based on analysing the research context, the article clarifies the issues of cross-border relations of the Brau in Dak Me village with their counterparts in Laos and Cambodia under economic and marital relation aspects.
