Communication Policies and Implemetation in Lao Cai Province' s Border Are

Abstract

Over the years, our Party and State have implemented numerous communication policies, both in general and with a specific focus on supporting communication in ethnic minority and border areas. Lao Cai province has actively implemented these communication policies in the border area, yielding tangible results that contribute to socioeconomic development, political stability, and national border security. This article, based on the systematisation of communication policies promulgated by the Party and State from 2000 to the present, analyses the implementation of these policies in the Vietnam-China border area of Lao Cai province and, at the same time, identifies their effectiveness, challenges, and limitations during the deployment and implementation process. Furthermore, the article suggests solutions to improve policy and communication activities in Lao Cai province’s Vietnam-China border area, which is home to various ethnic minority groups.
