Raw Material Sources and Preservation of Knitting Materials in the Red River Delta

Abstract

The article focuses on presenting materials used in knitting by artisans and knitting villages in the Red River Delta, as well as the ways and technologies used to trade, transport, and preserve raw materials for knitting by artisans of craft villages as well as those who exploit, purchase, transport, and trade these raw materials. The article also gives information about some changes in the sourcing of raw materials and how to preserve knitting materials in the region in recent years, thereby pointing out some difficulties and inadequacies of the current knitting profession.
