Abstract

Religious change is a common development process in all human societies from ancient times up to now. Religious change is an opportunity for positive factors, but it can also have unpredictable consequences. It is extremely necessary to learn, research to adapt, or behave appropriately to these changes at all stages of the development of a society. In the context of religions and beliefs that have been developing very strongly in Vietnam today, religious change is an important issue that needs to be studied. Since religion is "deeply rooted in the basic needs of humanity" as mentioned by Malinowski, using will or strength to remove a religion or belief from social life is not easy.
