An overview of ethnic minority languages television broadcasting in Vietnam today

Abstract

The article mentions some issues about the status of television activities broadcasting in ethnic minority languages of some radio and television stations in Vietnam today, concerning languages used; content transmission; human resources; production processes, durations, timeframes, and frequency of programs at the central and local levels. This article contributes to explain some issues about the content and form of broadcasting in ethnic languages. It is the basement of general recommendations for solutions to improve the quality of ethnic-minority language television broadcasting in our country in the coming period.
