Abstract

In 2012, the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party set out "to achieve the goal of building a prosperous society in all aspects by 2020". The Chinese government has also issued several plans and policies to implement, strengthen work and innovate methods of poverty reduction in ethnic minority regions. Up to now, the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction has achieved great results, contributing to strengthening the economic and social development of ethnic regions of China. This article deals with the theoretical aspects of anti-poverty that the Chinese Communist Party has inherited since the founding of the People's Republic of China and has been continuously completed up to now. Based on the reality of poverty in eight provinces and ethnic minority regions, the content of the article analyzes and discusses targeted poverty reduction and hunger eradication policies and measures in ethnic minority areas since the 18th National Congress to date.
