Employment migration of ethnic minority youth to industrial zones in Vietnam: Current status and some social issues.

Abstract

The article aims to assess the current situation and some issues of concern about the migration for work of ethnic minority youth groups in industrial zones. During the two years of 2020 – 2021, a survey was conducted in 3 provinces: Thai Nguyen, Quang Nam, and Binh Duong to find out the reasons that motivate ethnic minority youth workers to migrate to industrial zones to find jobs. Thereby, this research clarifies factors affecting the life of ethnic minority youth groups; their employment and income status in industrial zones. This article also addresses the concerning issues to ensure that ethnic minority youth groups working in industrial zones are convenient and effective.
