Advantages of the boarding school program in Sung Thai commune, Yen Minh district, Ha Giang province.
Abstract
This article demonstrates practical benefits of the boarding school program at the commune level in the mountainous area. The context is that local education situation is negatively impacted by the poverty and inappropriate school distribution as well as by traditional socio-cultural institutions. Therefore it is necessary to encourage creativity in policies in order to diversify local school’s advantages, which are often poorly depicted and analyzed in research on ethnic education.
