Livelihoods of Black Lo Lo people in the border region of Ha Giang province: Tradition and change.

Abstract

This article describes traditional livelihood activities of the Black Lo Lo people in Ha Giang border region and the changes of those practices at the current time. Due to government policies’ impacts and integration process, Black Lo Lo people’s livelihood activities have changed positively through time as to improve Black Lo Lo people’s living standards. Diversifying incomes through different livelihood activities shows the right development track of livelihood development of the Black Lo Lo people in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province.
