Some issues of ethnic cultural studies in border regions of Vietnam - China.

Abstract

The culture of ethnic groups who live in Chinese-Vietnamese borders is very diverse with multi origins and complex ethnicity processes. Ethnic cultures not only influence on ethnic social lives but also play an important role in protecting national security in the Nothern border region. Through reviewing the literature of ethnic culture, this article focuses on distinguishing features and changes of ethnic cultures in the Chinese-Vietnamese border region. On this basis, the author discusses about the trend of ethnic culture studies in the Chinese-Vietnamese border region so as to produce more appropriate and effective researches in the new context.
