Abstract

Unorganized crossing border migrant workers or illegal labor has become more and more popular in the Vietnam-China border region. Amongst them, ethnic minority females take a noticeable proportion. There are many causes that lead to this phenomenon, especially the demand for livelihood and social capital - emerging human resources. By examining unorganized crossing border migrant workers of 118 ethnic minority female in Van Quan district, Lang Son province, the author recommends solutions, for instance, information diffusion enhancement, establishing training courses, commencing immigration services so that to aid Vietnamese migrant workers in China and minimize the risks of losing security and safety.
