Abstract
The article analyses the income status and factors affecting the income of
ethnic minority workers in several industrial parks in Bac Ninh province. The results show
that their incomes remain low, primarily derived from the enterprises’ basic salary, overtime
pay, bonuses, and social security support. The main factors influencing the income of ethnic
minority workers are age, gender, education level, work experience, and job position. Among
these, income is most significantly impacted by three factors: gender, work experience, and
job position. This raises some policy issues for ethnic minority workers in the context of
Vietnam's industrialisation development.
