Abstract

In face with the impacts of climate change, the activities of animal husbandry in Ca Mau province have been suffered from the remarkable influences. The increase of the number and intensity of epidemic diseases, the number of livestocks died due to natural disasters as well as input costs in raising domestic animals, etc. have caused great damage to the breaders. In response to this situation, Kinh and Khmer people in Ca Mau province have selected specific and diverse ways. They are a change of roles of animal husbandry in their livehoods, application of new methods to prevent from epidemic diseases, seeking help of relatives and friends, etc. Through the analysis of responding ways of Kinh and Khmer people and the initial evaluation of effectiveness, this writing’s content is to make contribution to providing scientific basis for setting up specific, appropriate solutions to development of animal husbandry for Kinh and Khmer people
