The Culture of Black Lo Lo People in the Context of Economic and Tourism Changes in the Borderland of Ha Giang Province
Abstract
The Black Lo Lo sub-ethnic group is one of the first ethnicities settling in Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, Ha Giang province. Although belonging to the small population ethnicities, Black Lo Lo people still have preserved many aspects of traditional culture. With their sensitiveness and capacity of high adaptation to the local background of economic change and tourism development, Black Lo Lo people have taken advantages of favorable policies and assistance of domestic and foreign individuals and organizations so that they have had initial successes in making culture property, preserving and promoting traditional culture, and linking culture with economic development.
