A Number of Belief Activities of Ethnic Minorities in the Northern Vietnam
Abstract
Religious belief is a core component of spiritual culture and reflects spiritual life of the community. This writing deals with some traditional belief activities of ethnic minorities in the Northern Vietnam. Through this writing, it could be seen that religious beliefs of ethnic minorities in this region still have carried momentous impressions of animism, shamanism, totemism, polytheism and so on which have been expressed in a variety of belief activities related to economic activities and different social relationships. Especially, the ancestral worship and rituals related to agriculture have created cultural identities of the ethnic minorities
