Changes of Space Structure of Architecture in Villages of Ethnicities in the Central Highlands

  • Tạ Thị Hoàng Vân

Abstract

The Central Highlands are a land which not only still have preserved many natural resources and original human values but also have had the rich types of traditional architecture of indigenous peoples. The changes of socio-economic and cultural life, etc., have affected the structure of traditional villages in the Central Highlands. The changes could be found most clearly in components of architecture, space of landscape and population distribution. The identification and assessment of these changes will assist the management, preservation and inheritance of space of traditional architecture in the increasingly developmental social background especially in the business of new rural planning
