A Number of Conceptions, Approaches and Theories of Ethnic Conflict in the World
Abstract
Since the collapse of the Soviet Union and Eastern European countries (old), the ethnic conflict has become increasingly a hot issue in the world and has attracted attention of many scholars. This writing overviews a number of conceptions, approaches and theories of the ethnic conflict in the world - the very important aspects for implementation of relative studies. In the complicated background of ethnic conflict and free academic exchange, there have been many diverse opinions of above mentioned conceptions, approaches and theories. However, all the authors have considered that the ethnic conflict has been the use of ethnic questions for accomplishing the political aims and all the approaches or theories have directed to explanation of the causes of ethnic conflict. Via the overview, the writing makes contribution to identification of the just raised issues so as to provide initially the audience with information of the subject which has been touched rarely in Vietnam.
