In Cooperation with, Consolidating the Team of Prestigious People among Ethnic Minority People - A Task for the Sustainable Development of Northwestern Region at Present (Through the Case Investigation of Hmong People)

Abstract

A subject which has attracted investigation is the identification of causes making a part of ethnic minority people convert from their traditional beliefs to sects of Protestantism during three recent decades. Up to now, the opinions of this subject still have leant towards the viewpoint that these causes are synthetic ones but after all, it is the economic reason so that all solutions has directed to improvement of living standards for ethnic minority people. In practice, the weakening of traditional religious beliefs of Hmong people is basic reason making a part of them convert to Protestantism. Therefore, the writing proposes the consolidating of the prestigious people in community as one of optimal methods to stable culture and socio-political situation in the area of Hmong people in particular, in the Northwestern ethnic minority region in general.
