The Role of Ethnic Culture in New Rural Construction in the Ethnic Minority Region of Northern Mountains

Abstract

The article dealt with the role and conservation, bringing into place the ethnic cultural values in process of construction of new rural in the mountainous and ethnic region of Northern provinces - the essential territory in all aspects along the long border line of Vietnam - where thirty ethnic minorities reside. By the access to the customs and habits and cultural life of ethnic minorities in the Northern mountainous region, the writing made clear the influences of these custom and habits and cultural life on construction of the criteria of new rural in communities. Based on that, the article made a number of recommendations for some management agencies to have more scientific and suitable view in construction of new rural in each locality, region in the background of industrialization, modernization and integration of Vietnam
