Ethnic Issue in the Developmental Orientation of the Department of Anthropology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi

Abstract

Following the two writings, which made a comprehensive survey, checked and assessed the ethnic issue in the activities of study, training and application of policies of the Department of Anthropology and its pre-existent agencies for over a last half of century, this writing locates the ethnic issue in the developmental orientation of the Department of Anthropology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in the 2015-2020 period and the vision to the year of 2030. The practice of study, training and application of policies in the 55 traditional years of the Department of Anthropology shows that ethnicity is the research object of the major of ethnology, which creates the identity of the Subject of Ethnology belonging to the Department of History and continues having its important position in the developmental orientation in the following stage of the Department of Anthropology, University of Social Sciences & Humanities belonging to Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
