Agricultural Rituals of the Co-ho Sre in Di Linh District, Lam Dong Province
Abstract
In Vietnam, agriculture has played an important role in economy so that the agricultural rituals are cultural aspects expressed clearly in life of community and individual households. The Co-ho Sre is a sub-ethnic group of the Co-ho with long-standing culture. The study of agricultural rituals of the Co-ho Sre in nature is the approach to cultural traditions as well as changes in process of cultural exchange, struggle against invaders and peaceful construction. The writing presents the agricultural rituals of the Co-ho Sre in Di Linh district, Lam Dong province on basis of published works and field data in resident places of Co-ho Sre people.
