Developing Community Tourism Associated with Building and Improving the Material and Spiritual Life of Community Residents

Abstract

Community tourism is a type of tourism that has appeared in Vietnam not long ago
but has had remarkable developments. Up to now, there have been many studies mentioning this type
of tourism, but there are few specific works on the relationship between community tourism
development and building the material and spiritual life of the community. From the source of
documents collected at some community tourism sites/villages/hamlets in the Northwest and
Southwest and some published research works, this article focuses on analyzing the role of community
tourism development in building and improving the material and spiritual life of the people. At the
same time, it points out the challenges that community tourism sites/villages/hamlets/villages face in
organizing and managing the material and spiritual life of the community today, contributing to
solving the goal of stable development of community tourism in our country.
