Tổng quan nghiên cứu và những biến đổi của dân tộc Tày từ năm 1980 đến nay

Based on a literature overview on the Tay ethnic people published after 1979, this article aims to evaluate past research on the Tay people since 1980, and to analyze  socio-economic changes among this ethnic minority after Doi moi (economic reform). The author argues that like other ethnic minorities in Vietnam, the economic, social and cultural life of the Tay people has been heavily impacted by the market economy and challenged by modernization and integration. There are still many gaps to close and new directions to take for contemporary studies on the Tay.
