Some Personality Characteristics of Ethnic Minority Students from the Ha Giang Teachers College

Abstract

This article presents the research results of some personality characteristics of ethnic minority students from the Ha Giang Teachers College based on a 16-element individual test by R. B. Cattell, a set of questionnaires, and ways of solving selected communication-related problems. The results show that the distinguished personal characteristics of the surveyed students are open, friendly, emotional and standard behavioral. However, their common shortages include tough and high sensitiveness. Therefore, it is important to respond appropriately to the ethnic minority students with the aim of enhancing their specific and positive personal characteristics
