Spatial approaches are important analyzing ways used in different research fields. This article presents and analyzes some ways of classifying spaces with the argument that it is necessary to avoid initiating the unique definition of the space in the social sciences due to a diversified classification of spaces. However, it is important to classify the social space in order to comprehend specific definition of space used for analyses and the interpretation of space in culture and society.
