Seeking the Mortal Remains - The Phenomenon of Telepathic Grave Seeking, as Viewed and Discussed through the Prism of Press during the Doi Moi period

Abstract

This article examines the changing levels of awareness, journalistic approaches and methods of stating opinions on telepathic grave seeking, reflected in the press during the Doi Moi period in Vietnam. In the context of country-wide renovation during the Doi Moi period, the phenomenon of telepathic grave seeking provided an opportunity for a wide-open forum for public opinion. The author discusses the relationship between the phenomenon of telepathic grave seeking and the democratization of the Press during the Doi Moi period as well as the current legacy of telepathic grave seeking and its effect on the contemporary press.
