Religion and religious tasks for ethnic minorities in the Northwest area

Abstract

The ethnic minority community in Northwest of Vietnam has nearly 40 ethnic groups with 6 millions people. The religion is developing rapidly among ethnic minorities in Northwest area. Vietnamese Communist Party and Vietnamese Government usually have the consistent and judicious opinion on the religion and religious tasks. In the economic market and globalization situation nowadays, the socio-economic programs and projects in the remote and ethnic minority areas have affected to the development of religion among ethnic minorities. To manage the development of the religion in the Northwest area, the adequate awareness of the opinion and the policy of the Communist Party and the Government, then giving the suitable solutions in the present situation are necessary.
