Education policies of Nguyen Dynasty towards ethnic minorities in Vietnam in the first half of 19th century.
Abstract
This education policy started from Minh Mang 91820-1840). Before this policy was issued, only mandarins and local leaders were access to education. This policy aimed at development of unified Confucianism in the whole country, directly ruling localities by universalization of primary Confucianism and training civil servants of ethnic minorities.
