Use of traditional medicine of Muong people at Phu Man commune, Quoc Oai district, Ha Tay province.

Abstract

The Muong people at Phu Man still maintain a lot of indigenous knowledge on medical treatment. Besides prayer, they could also use traditional herbs effectively to cure diseases. They have reached a high level of knowledge in producing medicines and combining them. However, the practitioners of traditional medicine at Phu Man commune should be trained and their methods consolidated in order to better meet the requirements of their people’s health.
