This article describes traditional costumes and jewels of the Tay male and female in the North Eastern Mountains of Vietnam.  It describes the tailoring, colours and production of jewels. The author also mentioned the changes of traditional dress in terms of cloth materials which have come about from contact with the Viet (majority). Recommendations on the protection and preservation of traditional dresses have been proposed.
