Cultural identity of the Ta-oi, Co-tu, Van Kieu in Thua Thien Hue province in cultural integration at present.

Abstract

The Ta-oi, Co-tu and Van Kieu (the local group of the Bru-Van Kieu) are indigenous ethnic minorities in Thua Thien Hue province. In traditional culture (tangible and intangible), many factors reflected  ethnic identities such as glass house, long house, pole set up for lunar New Year’s Festival, plastic fine art of funeral house, festivals…In order to enhance these heritages, plans on collection, evaluation, exhibition, folklore artists’ training and art performance of ethnic minorities.
