Choro’s costume

Abstract

Choro’s traditional costume is quite simple: women often wear skirts and men wear loin clothes. When it is cold, they put on a coat. The author describes sewing techniques, the making of decorations and the use of colors on Choro’s costume. The paper also introduces generally some jewelry and the make-up of Choro people in festivals.
